NSW: More immigration protests expected today
More protests are expected outside Sydney's Holsworthy army barracks today .. against
the government's new hardline immigration policies.
About 80 refugee activists gathered at the barracks yesterday .. to demand access to
160 immigration detainees at the facility.
Their requests to visit the detainees .. who are among 260 temporarily relocated from
Sydney's Villawood detention centre because of asbestos fears .. were turned down.
