Fed: Parly hostilities on hold for another day
Parliamentary hostilities in Canberra will remain on hold for another day .. with question
time suspended for a second day in both the lower house and the Senate.
Prime Minister KEVIN RUDD will make a statement on the bushfire tragedy in Victoria
to the House of Representatives at 2pm (AEDT).
He's been touring fire-ravaged areas and spending time with emergency crews and victims
since Sunday.
Meanwhile Victorian federal MP FRAN BAILEY has evacuated her Healesville electorate
office as a precaution following reports of possible fire activity in the area.
